In September 2016, the OECD’s Development Assistance Committee (DAC) published its most recent review of Evaluation Systems in Development Co-operation. This 248-page reportlooks at the changes and trends in evaluation systems of the DAC Network members over the last five years.
As well as describing the role and management of evaluation in development agencies, ministries and multilateral banks, the review covers specific institutional settings, resources, policies and practices of DAC Evaluation Network members. It also provides specific profiles on each member’s evaluation system.
This report is part of the DAC Network on Development Evaluation’s ongoing efforts to increase the effectiveness of development co-operation policies and programs by promoting high-quality, independent evaluation. The document is available only in English.
