Postdoctoral fellowship awarded to Pierre-Marc Daigneault

05/04/2011

Pierre-Marc Daigneault has been awarded a postdoctoral fellowship from the Fonds québécois de recherche sur la société et la culture (FQRSC). Pierre-Marc intends to conduct his postdoctoral research under the supervision of Daniel Béland, Canada Research Chair in Public Policy at the Johnson-Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy, University of Saskatchewan. His research will examine “active” social assistance policies (i.e., policies which offer incentives to recipients to get back on the job market) through the lens of their program theory. Pierre-Marc is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Political Science (dissertation stage) on the topic of participatory evaluation and evaluation use.
